Country Home Magazine Features Snowy Holiday Weekend at the Green Mountain Inn

The December issue, which hits newsstands on November 20th, features a family enjoying a "storybook" Christmas holiday at the Stowe mountain resort, complete with snowshoeing, chopping down a fresh Christmas tree and dining on a delicious yet simple Christmas Eve supper.

Country Home's December issue is an annual keepsake edition that explores old and new traditions, with a focus on simple, personal, natural holiday style. The magazine was created for readers who share passions for home décor, food and entertaining, fashion and well-being, travel and shopping. The Green Mountain Inn's rich history and New England charm was a natural fit for the publication. The inn's location in the heart of the Stowe village was a huge draw for the editorial staff, as well as the additional amenities that the inn offers, such as dog sled rides, snowshoeing, skiing, massages, afternoon tea and cookies, a heated outdoor pool and plenty of holiday cheer.

Holderness and food stylist Susan Sugarman worked closely with inn's head chef, Steven Truso. Mouth-watering recipes from the inn, including brie with clover honey, chicken soup, corn chowder, stuffed mushrooms, baked apples and maple crème brulee, are offered to readers to make at home in the holiday issue.
